Nothing feels more real than you actually putting words down on a piece of paper and reading them out loud. Walking in denial seems to be easier at times, because when we say it aloud, it becomes real, even when we don’t want it to be.
At Aria Hospice Comfort Care, we want to take a very special moment to honor our executive Director/CEO, Sandra Pappas🩵
As most of the community is aware, Sandy passed away peacefully in her home with her family at bedside on April 17th, 2026.
Sandy was more than just a dedicated boss at Aria. She taught us what it’s like to be fully invested in something you love. She was a mentor, a friend, and a support system for all the employees. She made sure everyone was taken care of- between patients, families, and her own family and staff. She provided encouragement, words of wisdom, and spread love throughout the community.
As we walk this road of grief together, we want to extend extra support to her wonderful husband and 3 beautiful children.
We are beyond grateful to have had Sandy with Aria for over 13 years, and she will forever be missed.
Please take a moment to tell those around you how much you care for them, because one day we will all leave this earth.
