On July 3, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a sweeping budget bill that includes nearly $1 trillion in cuts to Medicaid. While the outcomes were not what our staff hoped and prayed for, it is important to pause and celebrate our accomplishments. We are grateful for those who advocated on behalf of those served by Mosaic. Thank you for your ongoing commitment to protect and preserve Medicaid. We will continue to love and serve.

Happy One Mosaic Day!

On July 1, 2003, Mosaic was formed by the consolidation of Bethphage and Martin Luther Homes. One Mosaic Day is celebrated annually on July 1 as a tribute to our history and a celebration of our network’s collective efforts to empower people to live full lives.

As we celebrate, our call to “love and serve” the nearly 5,000 people in more than 750 communities we support remains strong.

June is pride month. To our workforce, those we support, and all people who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community or an ally—this month, we honor and celebrate you!

Belonging and connection are two of Soreo’s core values. As humans, we all want the same thing: to be welcomed and celebrated for who we are and what we bring to the table.

We have advocated for the acceptance of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities for decades, and we stand with others working toward that same acceptance.
