I'm thrilled to introduce you to our newest community member, Dr. Rhonda Coleman, DOAM, LA.C. I'm frequently amazed by the background of the people I'm lucky enough to meet and work with. Dr. Rhonda is absolutely at the top of that very long list.

With years of experience as an acupuncturist, Dr. Rhonda is blending traditional work with her spirit work and deep listening skills. Her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine degree was with a clinical focus on pain and trauma. She's incredibly present and a natural healer. I've heard it from others and I've seen the before and after in person. Kendra is so gifted and a true angel on earth.

A few months ago, I did a Google search for biofeedback and came across Rooted. I was immediately drawn in after reading about Kendra and her practice. Walking into the office for the first time, I was impressed by the calming atmosphere and the array of products they have on the shelves. My favorite part is the essential oils—they not only offer them for sale but also provide testers so you can find what works best for you. I’ve already bought six oils and use them daily. What’s especially helpful is the list displayed next to the oils, which explains which oil can help with specific issues. It’s incredibly thoughtful and user-friendly. Hello! We are currently looking to fill two openings at Rooted. We have shifts available and are offering, for the first time ever, an on-boarding special!

(We are a shift rental clinic for self-employed practitioners who want to work alongside other providers. You must have 3 years of experience.)

For practitioners that join us by September and choose our later shifts (3-8:30), we will be taking $5 off each one for your first two months. That's a savings of up to $50 a month for the first two months.

We also have a few days shifts available, which are not discounted.

We're a great place to build your business as a self-employed practitioner and are entering our busy season. We expect to be full by October, so get in while you can!

A big shout out to Erin for taking the words right out of my mouth. The only difference between my experience with Shay's facial and Erin's experience is that mine was missing the monsoon, but I drifted off anyway (no small feat).

Shay is a fantastically skilled aesthetician whose books will fill up quickly with us. I strongly suggest getting in her schedule now for your regular skincare maintenance. Her products are amazing, and she makes the entire hour feel like a holiday.

Please join me in welcoming Erin Love, LAC to our community. Erin has moved her private practice to Rooted along with her AMAZING energy and warmth. As someone who has cherished talk therapy for most of my adult life, I can assure you that if I had found Erin years ago, I would have counted myself as incredibly lucky.

To quote her bio, Erin's approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and depth-oriented. She draws from trauma and attachment theory, somatic and relational practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and expressive arts, as well as Jungian and mythopoetic perspectives.

Erin especially enjoys working with highly sensitive people, artists, introverts, intuitives, "and those with a bit of a rebellious streak"—people who’ve often felt like outsiders in one way or another. "I value the many forms intelligence can take and appreciate the insight and perspective that diverse minds bring to the collective.

How lucky are we that we get to do what we do for a living?

SO LUCKY.

I am continually awestruck by the great honor of working with people in the way that we do. The change in the way people feel before and after, the hugs given, the deep listening and connection we are able to offer, the support and genuine passion for helping people - all of these things (and more!) make me so proud to do this for a living.

As the owner, I get to sit back and observe how each practitioner navigates and moves through their practice. I get to see their growth, support their challenges, and watch the community shape one another. I also get to see a clients life made better, and it's just so moving, I hardly have the words.

Thanks, Tucson, for letting us be of true service to you. It's an honor and privilege.

Let's hear it for Mo! Not only have I had the pleasure of receiving from Mo myself, but I've spent extra time with him at a training and been around his passion for this work, as well as his interest in learning more tools to help people. He's engaged, motivated, and incredibly personable.

I love this review because it highlights what Mo does best - focused work for an improved quality of life.

I'm sharing this here due to the fact that many LMT's follow our page, but also because this feels important on many levels. I think from a client perspective this would be incredibly informative and illuminating to read and learn about the challenges that their practitioner(s) face, and why we have policies, boundaries and the rates that we do. I hope it encourages a conversation or two. I'm lucky to own and operate a community workspace and to have no shortage of people in my life, so that loneliness is not a risk factor for me (and hopefully, my many colleagues), however none of us are immune to what is highlighted in this amazing article.
