TMC Health Foundation was proud to welcome 40 healthcare leaders from all across Arizona for a special volunteer event before the first ever joint conference between HLA Arizona and Arizona HFMA.

Led by Jenna Green, Maya Luria, and Carolyn King, this three-part experience consisted of:
🎨 A guided tour of our hospital’s Healing Art Program collection
🌿 A walk through our outdoor community art projects
🖌️ A hands-on activity to create a mosaic for one of our courtyards

Yesterday's event was a beautiful example of how art can heal, inspire, and bring people together. 💛

Thank you to all who joined us and left a lasting mark at TMC! Together, we're building a stronger and healthier future for Southern Arizona.

Through a grant made possible by unrestricted donations to the TMC Health Foundation, our Child Life team at TMC for Children provides personalized educational resources to pediatric patients newly diagnosed with diabetes.

Each child receives age-appropriate materials, such as books and tools for pain management and emotional support, tailored to their unique needs. These kits equip patients and their families with the tools they need to understand and manage their condition with confidence.

Your support makes resources like this possible. Every donation helps us bring comfort, education, and hope to families at TMC Health. ❤️

29 Ace Hardwares across Tucson came together this past month to raise an outstanding $23,629.53 for TMC for Children — a 31.1% increase from last year, making Tucson one of the top markets in the nation!

The 22nd Street location led the way raising a phenomenal $5,870, and the Houghton location not only raised $4,820, but also won the Most Creative Award for their amazing bucket-built plane — earning an additional $1,000 for TMC for Children!

Thank you, Ace Hardware, for all you do to support TMC Health. Your generosity and creativity make a real difference in the lives of children and families in our Southern Arizona community.💙

Thanks to the generosity of the Willcox community, over $140,000 was raised at the 13th annual TMC Health Foundation Boots & Bling fundraiser for Northern Cochise Community Hospital (NCCH)! These funds will help purchase new Emergency Department stretchers and inpatient beds, enhancing patient comfort, safety, and quality of care at NCCH.

Please join us in giving a special thank you to TMCH Foundation Board Member, Kathy Cook, who has been the driving force behind this event since its inception, raising more than $1 million to support hospital upgrades and patient care at NCCH. We are very grateful for her support and commitment to rural healthcare!💙

Thanks to a $25,000 grant from the TMC Health Foundation, our pediatric department is now home to 5,000 new team members—adorable stuffed turtles! 🐢

These cuddly companions help ease anxiety for children undergoing anesthesia and play a vital role in therapeutic activities led by our amazing Child Life Specialists at TMC for Children.

As Heather Roberts shares, “We use medical play, often with Tomas the Turtle, to help children feel safe and in control in the hospital environment. When kids understand what's happening and they feel engaged, they are more likely to take their medicine, get up and walk post-surgery, and meet the goals they need to go home."

Your donations allow us to bring more smiles, more healing, and more hope to every hospital room at TMC Health.

Rooted in the belief that arts have the power to transform care, the Healing Art Program (HAP) is a cornerstone of our commitment to well-being at TMC Health. HAP integrates artwork throughout the TMC Health System, which now includes four hospitals, six cancer centers and oncology sites, and 21 clinics throughout Southern Arizona.

If you find yourself on our Tucson Medical Center campus, you can now explore the newly renovated Ferguson hall featuring 11 favorite pieces by Fred Wackerle, Rhonda Royse, Melanie Campbell-Carter, and Larry Hass, MD.
