Quality of Life is currently looking for participants interested in participating in a Norovirus Vaccine Study. How much do you know about the Norovirus?

Is the norovirus the same as the stomach bug?
Norovirus is a very contagious virus that causes vomiting and diarrhea. It is sometimes called the "stomach flu" or the "stomach bug."

What are the first signs of norovirus?
What are the symptoms?
Common symptoms of norovirus infection include vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach cramping. Less common symptoms can include low-grade fever or chills, headache, and muscle aches. Symptoms usually begin 1 or 2 days after ingesting the virus, but may appear as early as 12 hours after exposure.
