Communication Accommodation Indicator is now in effect in Arizona. ARS 28-459 allows for individuals in Arizona to voluntarily add an indicator on their vehicle record to show the need for a "communication accommodation" which is only seen by law enforcement, no one else. She shares: "I wanted to become a student leader in the department because I, like so many others in the major, am passionate about people and want to make sure everyone feels a sense of belonging. I hope to create a welcoming feel for every member of NSSLHA and make more connections among students. NSSLHA informed me of so many opportunities within the major and connected me with so many friends along the way. I can't wait to hopefully do the same this year as I take on this leadership role."
