🌟 Employee Spotlight: Missy De Santiago 🌟

🎉 We’re proud to celebrate Missy De Santiago—one of our incredible field trainer officers and a true culture champion for Medstar Medical Transport.

🚐 Missy’s dedication goes far beyond her day-to-day role. She took it upon herself to coordinate, schedule, and host specialty transport trainings for our drivers with one of our healthcare partners, which covers fall recovery techniques and advanced transfer training. She does this because she is passionate about ensuring we excel in our patient care.

📅 She also invests countless hours into strengthening our team culture and is the heart behind so many of our team events. This includes planning company events like our leadership scavenger hunt to organizing retirement parties. She’s even rallying a team for an upcoming Breast Cancer Awareness walk—because for Missy, community and connection are always at the forefront.

🫶 Recently, she went the extra mile by purchasing “You Make A Difference” pins to share with our team, reminding each of us that the work we do every day brings hope to those we transport.

✨Partnering for Safe Transport Across Care Settings ✨

💪 We don’t just focus on providing safe and reliable transport ourselves, we also strive to help our healthcare partners do the same.

🚐❤️ Octavio, our Fleet and Safety Manager, recently took time to train some members of the transportation team at Villa Maria Health & Recovery. Since they will be performing their own facility transports for patients attending appointments, group therapies, and activities we wanted to share our expertise.

🚍✨ Today, we had the pleasure of providing event NEMT transportation for a large group from Catalina Post Acute Care and Rehab to Reid Park Zoo in Tucson, AZ! From residents to their medic escorts, everyone left with smiles and wonderful memories.

🎉 Whether it’s a facility field trip to the Tucson Botanical Gardens, a holiday outing to ZooLights: Holiday Magic, or catching a special performance at The Gaslight Theatre, we can accommodate groups of all sizes who are ambulatory or wheelchair bound.
