There was such a beautiful collective of our community here in Tucson that drank in the music of this Goddess on Friday the 13th! What magic! ✨✨
Thank you Alexa for bringing our voices together and for creating pathways of remembering back to our hearts 💗

We offered teas, herbal mushroom coffee, chocolates and other delicious treats!
Although not the main part of my business, I get so much joy being in community and seeing everyone! 🫶🏼

Big changes are happening for Elemental Alchemy Ayurveda in the next month which I can't wait to share with you! I will be keeping you posted in these changes very soon! Promise!

But rather than get overwhelmed or immediately go to places of guilt or shame, what if we just took a baby step into the Wonder and curiosity of what it would look like to leave capitalism, imperialism, empire mind thinking?

In the almost 20 years that I have studied and practiced Ayurveda, one of the biggest themes is realizing that we are nature not separate from it. And the answer to imbalance, misalignment, sickness, and disease isn't to separate ourselves more from nature, but to immerse ourselves in it. What would a world look like when we give all life dignity to be here on this planet Earth?

To sit and listen to the wind, the trees , the rocks, the mountains, and appreciate the creation with reverence and dignity. It would change us. It would have us desiring to protect and cherish every single living thing. It would make us look at all the ways we have separated ourselves from one another and from the Earth.

We would question the reality that currently exists and keeps us enslaved to convenience, keeps us propelling a narrative that hurts other humans on the planet...

We are in the last days of capitalism. What are you doing?

This beautiful medicated Sun infused oil will be used for a special treatment tonight. 🌹🙏🏼

Chakra basti, also called nabhi basti, because it is applied to the umbilical region. Nabhi is seen as marma in Ayurveda. Acharya Sushrutha said there are 107 marmas in the body. Nabhi marma is the vital center where 72,000 nadis (the subtle energy pathways) converge. Therefore one of the most important areas to purify and nourish. The nadis here connect us to our ancestral lineage through the umbilical cord.
This also strengthens the Agni also known as the digestive fire.

It's been forever since I posted a food pic! Sometimes by the time I remember to take a pic the meal has already been eaten up.
Feels good to be intentional with meals again. It's like coming home.
This is a South Indian Fish Curry. It was mild so my son could enjoy it with me. Ohhhh soooo good 😋
