Is it time to begin your journey toward healing?
The Tsow-Tun Le Lum Society, offers live-in substance use and trauma treatment programs specifically for Indigenous people, with financial support and referrals coordinated by the Tulalip Health System.

Programs are grounded in culture and tradition, offering a holistic and unique path forward:
*Substance Use (6 Weeks): An intensive program for those ready to leave alcohol and drug use behind, building on your existing strengths for a unique path to recovery.
* Trauma (5 Weeks): Focused on addressing past trauma in a safe environment, for those in long-term recovery (6+ months abstinence) who are ready for the next step.
* Grief & Loss (3 Weeks): Dedicated time and group support to process heavy feelings like sadness, anger, and anxiety caused by loss.

If you or a loved one is ready to take this courageous step, we are here to support you.

November is COPD Awareness Month! 💙

Breathe easier and take charge of your lung health. Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is a progressive lung disease that makes it hard to breathe, but early detection and treatment can make a huge difference in your quality of life.

Don't dismiss a cough or shortness of breath as just "getting older" or a "smoker's cough."

Watch out for these common symptoms:
* A cough that won't go away (often producing mucus/phlegm).
* Shortness of breath, especially during daily activities.
* Wheezing or chest tightness.
* Lack of energy or unusual tiredness.

If you or a loved one are experiencing these symptoms, or have a history of smoking, please **consult your healthcare provider**. An early conversation with your doctor is the most important step to get tested (often with a simple breathing test called spirometry) and start managing your lung health.

Take a deep breath and prioritize your lungs this month!
