Hope Horizon Mental Health

Our program takes children with Tulare County Medi-Cal. Unfortunately, not all children will meet the criteria to be seen at this particular agency.

Hope Horizon Mental Health, formerly Tulare Youth Service Bureau (TYSB), is a non-profit organization in Tulare County that offers comprehensive mental and behavioral health services for children, families, and adults. Hope Horizon Mental Health, formerly Tulare Youth Service Bureau (TYSB), is a private nonprofit children’s mental health provider, contracted with the Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency. Grant funding from United Way and Tulare County is also available for some clients with issues related to sexual abuse. We are not able to see children that have private health insurance. When a referral is made, the intake coordinator will refer to an appropriate source for services as needed if we are unable to see them at this agency. Most, if not all children in the Tulare County Child Welfare System will qualify for an assessment as they have Tulare County Medi-Cal.

Using rainbows and clovers, clients identified positive affirmations and coping strategies that support Emotional Regulation, Resilience, and Hope.

Small creative moments can spark powerful conversations and help clients recognize their strengths. 💚

This fund supports graduating Tulare County high school students pursuing college or trade school, with priority for those who have faced mental health challenges or received mental health care. Current or former HHMH clients get extra consideration.

🦃 Thanksgiving might still be around the corner (we know, Halloween isn’t even here yet 🎃), but we’re already getting ready to spread some gratitude!

HHHMH is kicking off our 4th Annual Thanksgiving Food Drive and this year's goal is to serve 100 families. We’re collecting non-perishable food items and new blankets now through November 17th.

📍 Drop-off Location: 327 S. K St., Tulare
📅 Dates: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (now through 11/17/25)
🥫 Suggested Items: Grocery gift cards, new blankets, and non-expired, non-perishable foods (such as canned corn, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and biscuit mix)
