Wow - thank you to everyone who is becoming a sponsor and supporter of our Kids Off the Kouch Wellness initiative and health challenge. We want to send a special Thank you to our current sponsors: Barbara Harrell, Fitness by Design, AgWest Farm Credit, Tulare Noon Kiwanis, Kevin Mooney, Stephen Harrell, Councilmember (City of Tulare), and many more pledges to come. It is nice to know that our community is rallying together to support those at-risk children facing heart disease, diabetes, obesity, behavioral health, asthma and other early childhood diseases. We already have a success story to share with you and will do that after their follow up appointment, weigh-in, and wellness check! The entire family is doing this together!

KOTK is already making a difference!
This little guy didn’t want to participate at first but his parents realized it was something he desperately needed.

He is now getting his siblings to play soccer with him and his eating habits and health is improving!

Time to sign up to participate!
If you know of any child between the ages of 5-16 with early childhood diabetes, heart, obesity, asthma, or at risk for any of the above please invite them to reach out. This 4 week pilot program will begin March 23rd. The exercise do showing the most improvement, documented 1 hour exercise every day photo on our FB page will win a trip to Disneyland! Other prizes will be awarded. Come out to Elk Bayou Soccer field this Saturday, or call the Foundation. Let’s do this!
