✨NEW MISSION STATEMENT ✨
For more than 40 years, PCLI has set itself apart from mainstream ophthalmology practices through a deeply rooted commitment to comanagement—a model of shared patient care built on relationships of trust and mutual respect with our optometric colleagues. In fact, our corporate mission, which has been in place for over three decades, was: “To provide the best
comanagement services to the profession of optometry.”
Our commitment to serving optometrists and the patients they entrust to our care is unique nationwide. It’s our niche, and we endeavor to do it exceptionally well. However, comanagement, once uncommon, is now widely practiced by ophthalmologists—though not always in the spirit we believe it deserves. As the term has broadened and become loosely applied, we’ve recognized the need to better express what truly defines PCLI’s approach. This is why we have updated our mission statement—not to change who we are, but to clearly reaffirm what we stand for and how we serve.
