Cardiology Northwest is a locally owned veterinary cardiology practice located in Portland, Oregon and serving the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years. Our board certified cardiologists, Dr. Wood and Dr. Bottorff, have longstanding reputations for compassionate care and excellence with clients and veterinary colleagues. Our primary goal is to increase the quality of life and longevity of your pet whether a more immediate or chronic heart condition is present. Our cardiologists and support team strive for happy pets and your peace of mind through education about your pets’ heart condition paired with a realistic treatment plan.

Not sure this is the place to post this. But, if you are interested in a 1/4 to 1/2 season Trailblazer tickets, let me know. We share 2 seats with a friend who wants to leave or greatly reduce. Section 205, Row G, seats 3 and 4. Need to know ASAP.

Our owner and respected veterinary cardiologist Dr. Wood is retiring, so we will be closing the practice on May 25th, 2022. It has been our great honor to serve this community’s veterinary practitioners as well as our wonderful patients and their families for the last 40+ years. We are excited to announce that Dr. Wood will be retiring in 2022! Our patients and their families are our highest priority. The team is deeply grateful for all of your patience and understanding. We plan to close our doors at the end of May 2022 and provide resources and contact information to our clients for trusted Veterinary Cardiologists who can provide excellent care continuation to their beloved pets. We will also provide complete medical records for active patients to our clients and their primary care veterinarians.

Thank you again for your understanding and all the wonderful years of letting us care for the furry members of your family!

Please note that Cardiology NW will be closing early on Wednesday, 11/24 at 12:15pm and closed on Thanksgiving Day. We will return on Monday, 11/29! Wishing our community a safe and joyful holiday!

Due to the increasing positive cases of COVID 19 in our area, we will be transitioning back to Curbside Care effective immediately. We are very sorry for the inconvenience this causes, but maintain the safety of our clients, patients, and staff as our highest priority. We loved seeing our wonderful clients in our building and can't wait to have you back in! We will keep you posted with updates moving forward. Our lobby is now open at limited capacity! We still ask that all clients call or text us upon arrival to check in over the phone for appointments and medication pick up. Clients can enter the building without a mask if they are fully vaccinated but should continue to wear a mask and practice social distancing if they are not vaccinated. Clients that wish to continue following the curbside care model will be accommodated.

The team at Cardiology Northwest is continuing to follow the Curbside Care model. We understand that the fully vaccinated population is increasing, restrictions are being lifted, and many businesses are opening up. As we see these trends, we are evaluating the safest possible process for opening our hospital in order to pose the lowest amount of risk to our clients, patients, and staff. Your patience and understanding throughout the pandemic and following Curbside Care is truly appreciated! We will keep you updated as any safety precaution processes change.
