Ditch the store-bought drawer fresheners and make your own natural sachets that not only smell fantastic but also help repel pests like silverfish and moths!

Ingredients:

- Dried Lavender

- Dried Rose Petals

- Star Anise (repels pests)

- Dried Rosemary (great for silverfish)

- Bay Leaves (deters cockroaches and moths)

- Cinnamon Sticks (adds a lovely scent and repels bugs)

- Essential Oils (Lavender, Wild Orange, or Peppermint)

- Cheesecloth or Muslin Squares (or small drawstring bags)

- Cotton String

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Sachets: Cut the cheesecloth or muslin into squares. Alternatively, use small drawstring bags.

2. Fill: Add dried lavender, rose petals, star anise, rosemary, bay leaves, and cinnamon sticks to the cloth. Gently crush with a jar or rolling pin to release their aroma.

3. Add Essential Oils: Soak a cotton ball or piece of fabric with a few drops of essential oil. Add it to the mixture.

4. Seal: Gather the edges of the cloth and secure with cotton string or jute.

5. Use: Place sachets in drawers, wardrobes, or linen cupboards. Refresh with essential oil drops as needed.

👏Here’s a simple DIY cleaner:
• 2 tbsp Fractionated Coconut Oil
• 5 drops Tea Tree
• 5 drops Grapefruit

Swirl your brushes in the mix, then work it through on your hand. Rinse with warm water and let them dry. That’s it.

Try doing this once a month - you’ll be surprised how much fresher your skin feels.
