Steffanie has been employed at Universal Family Care for 4.5 years. She currently scribes for Dr. Lee, which is one of the most demanding and difficult positions in our office. It requires focus, time management, and a wide knowledge base. She is also cross trained to work as clinical staff and administrative staff when needed. Steffanie gives her all to her job, and she is one of the hardest working people you will ever meet! She has a contagious laugh, tells the best stories, and she has a gift for making others feel comfortable and at ease. She is dedicated and dependable, and her willingness to learn and grow sets a positive example for us all. Thank you Steffanie, for your years of excellent service at UFC!

Meet Cheryl, our billing manager! Sometimes insurance companies are not the easiest to deal with, and that’s when Cheryl steps up to bat for our patients. She works tirelessly to make sure our claims are going out correctly and communicates with insurance company representatives to track payments and confirm coverage information. She is the go-to person for all things insurance related, her customer service skills are exceptional, and she has unmatched patience. Cheryl is also a member of our office’s prayer team, and her faith and love for Jesus show through in all aspects of her life. We are so thankful that Cheryl has done medical billing for our office for the past 17 years. Thank you Cheryl, for your years of excellent service at UFC!

If you’ve ever been in the hospital, Kayla is the sweet voice that calls to check on you when you get home. She’s our Care Coordinator, and she makes sure patients are up to date on important preventative screenings such as mammograms and colonoscopies along with helping prevent hospital re-admissions, tracking immunizations, and making sure patients with chronic illnesses receive the care and monitoring that they need. Working at Universal Family Care was the first job Kayla ever had, and now she has been with us over 16 years! Her knowledge is indispensable, as she is also able to cover clinical, administrative, and managerial duties when needed. She also is certified as an x-ray technician, so you never know where you will see Kayla around the office; always with a helping hand and a smile! Thank you Kayla, for your years of excellent service at UFC!

If you’ve been coming to Universal Family Care for any amount of time, chances are you have been greeted with this smile. Denise has been a dedicated employee as a medical assistant and x-ray technician for Dr. Lee for 18 years now! She has the kindest heart, and is affectionately referred to as “Mama D” around the office for the way she takes care of us all. She goes above and beyond here, completing the majority of our PAs, doing extra duties to keep things running smoothly, and is always a friendly resource when there are questions or problems. She provides excellent care to our patients while being kind and compassionate. Thank you Denise, for your years of excellent service at UFC! We look forward to many more ❤️
