The Infusion/ WC Nurse is on the front lines of care in our Wound Care clinic & Infusion Centers. In this role the infusion nurses will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of infusion therapy to our patient's suffering from chronic disease. And will assist with wound care clinic visits. This role is in a caring, laid-back environment rendering direct patient care. Our expectations for these positions are to fill them with highly skilled, caring nursing professionals who will administer hands-on clinical care and follow procedural guidelines set forth by TN Vascular.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

-Must possess the ability to start IV's

- Must be able to calculate and mix insulin concentrations per set forth protocols

-Must be able to titrate infusion pump per protocol/ orders given by the provider

-Must be able to clearly instruct the patient and educate them on infusion therapy.

-Help facilitate in creating a calm and comfortable environment for patients to receive infusion

- Thoroughly review patient's charts and update as needed

-Monitor patient vital signs and report any abnormalities to the provider

-Maintain a highly organized, safe and clean work area.

-Must be able to communicate effectively and respectfully with patient's and co-workers

-Must be able to maintain a thorough understanding of the company's standards of practice, it's hierarchy and your role within it.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

Education: Hold a current & in good standing LPN license. Have current CPR Certification. Experience: Prior infusion therapy experience preferred but not necessary. Infusion and wound care training provided at no cost.

Job Type: Full-time
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule: Mon.-Fri. 8:00a-430p
