🌟 A night of standing ovations, laughter, and heart! 🌟
The stage lights may have dimmed at the historic Franklin Theatre, but the excitement from the 7th Annual Morning Pointe Foundation Seniors Got Talent Franklin still lingers! 🎭💙
The evening was packed with unforgettable performances — from Broadway showstoppers and soulful ballads to toe-tapping trios and, yes, even a spoons solo that stole the show. 🥄🎶 Each act carried its own story, reminding us that creativity and passion never fade — they only grow stronger with time.
More than a talent show, it was a night about purpose. Together, our community helped raise a record-breaking almost $40,000 to benefit the Morning Pointe Foundation, providing scholarships for students across Middle Tennessee. 🎓💛
🥇 1st Place - Lucius Talley, 86-year-old spoon player, who gave an impressive performance of "When The Saints Go Marching In" and took home the $1,000 cash prize presented by Morning Pointe Senior Living.
🥈 2nd Place - Brian Hanson, 69-year-old singing pianist, who gave a lively rendition of "Blue Suede Shoes" and went home with the $500 cash prize.
🥉 3rd Place - Randy Spencer, 65, & Cathey Nelson, 63, musical duo that gave an absolute powerhouse duet of "Up Where We Belong" and left with $250 cash prize.
🏅 People's Choice - Gail Valorani, a 69-year-old singer, who sang a heartfelt version of “You Don’t Even Know Who I Am.”
To every performer, sponsor, judge, and supporter — thank you for proving once again that senior talent deserves the spotlight. Here’s to the music, the memories, and the mission that bring us all together. 🌟
