September is Pain Awareness Month and a reminder that chronic pain is a common but complex issue for many older adults. Although it is common, chronic pain is not a normal part of aging. Effective treatment is possible and often requires a multidimensional approach. If you are living with chronic pain, talk to your provider about the best approach for you.
