As we look to enter a New Year, do me a favor and remember this...................

YOU HAVE VALUE!

Our time is the number one most important thing we have in this life. What you decide to do with your time, the skills you earn and how you leverage them, how and where you use them, have value. NEVER let anyone take advantage of you and what you bring to the table. You're worth something, and a whole lot more than what you sell your time and skills to do.

You're a human first, that doesn't come with a price tag. Your time though and skills, that's something else.

In 2026, remember that. No one else is you, and no one will do it like you. This will probably speak more to artisans than anybody, and I get that. It blows my mind how much I am hit up to provide photography or film for free, especially when it's asked for marketing purposes. It's like, you want to leverage my small business to help your small business make money but you want it free? Really?

Don't sell your soul just for the sake of making other people happy or helping make them money. If YOU decide to do it for charity or whatever else, let it be because YOU want to.

Understanding and accepting that you have value, your time and skills are valuable, is priceless.
