To our new followers and those who have been here awhile, let's reconnect. 🤍
I'm Dr. Lesley Landis, a board-certified plastic surgeon, Oklahoma native, wife, mom, and founder of Landis Plastic Surgery.
I was raised in Ardmore and Edmond, Oklahoma, where my passion for medicine and patient care started early. I earned my bachelor's degree in Health and Sports Sciences before attending the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. During medical school, I was honored for compassionate patient care and inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society.
Following medical school, I completed a five-year general surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma-Tulsa, becoming board-certified by the American Board of Surgery. I then pursued advanced training in plastic and reconstructive surgery, completing a three year fellowship at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and earned board certification from the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
Before opening my private practice, I cared for patients at St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, performing a wide range of aesthetic and reconstructive procedures, including breast reconstruction, body contouring after weight loss, and complex surgical cases. I was also honored to serve as Chair of the Department of Surgery from 2020 to 2022, an experience that strengthened my leadership and commitment to excellence in patient care.
In 2023, I founded Landis Plastic Surgery with a clear vision: to create a practice centered on safety, personalization, and truly listening to my patients. As one of the few female board-certified plastic surgeons in the region, I bring both technical expertise and a thoughtful, feminine approach especially for patients navigating pregnancy, weight changes, and aging.
Outside of the OR, I'm a proud wife to my husband Josh, mom to our twins Evan and Ava, an endurance athlete, and a lifelong Oklahoman who loves calling Tulsa home.
Whether you're just finding us or have trusted me with your care before, thank you for being here. I'm honored to walk this journey with you.
