care to residents living with alzheimer’s and dementia

KNOWN Memory Care provides families living with dementia and Alzheimer’s
specialized and individualized care. The integrated programming we provide
focuses on the physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual needs of each
person. Our personalized approach is strategic and thoughtful, promoting care
that is filled with mindfulness. Our team of highly trained caregivers and expert
clinical advisors leads the individualized care programming. We help to identify
specific types of cognitive impairments and create individualized plans that
support prevention and management of further behavioral and psychological
symptoms. There are many benefits to person-centered care but the most vital
is ensuring our residents make precious new memories and enjoy living each
day peacefully and actively. Our team believes in knowing each member of the
community by heart.

At KNOWN Memory Care we learned some fun facts in sewing club. Zippers were invented in 1893. Yup! they are way over a hundred year old now. Initially they were only used on shoes and boots to make wearing them faster. But slowly they gained favour and made their way onto garments.
