But in all seriousness a lot of people do not realize that it doesn’t have to be annual enrollment period, or open enrollment period to make changes throughout the year.
There are special enrollment periods as well.

We have had a few people come through the office that have been fraudulently enrolled in plans. This is very sad and unfortunate. there is a high potential to be very costly to folks.
My advice would be to avoid the 1-800 numbers that you see on T.V. A few reasons for this are,

• Potential to be taken advantage of from shady people.
• IF you do get an actual agent they are usually captive, meaning they can only sell for that certain company so they can’t give you a 100% true consultation of all of your options.
• Majority of the agents that you will talk to are not local, so you will not have that face to face meaningful relationship to truly understand you as a person, and the actual questions and concerns that you have for local coverage of your P*P and specialist you may see.

I encourage all of our seniors and their loved ones that see this to please be informed that it is much better to have a local independent agent that represents multiple carriers. We will find you a plan that fits your actual wants and needs.
