⭕ Red Raspberry is a summer and early fruit.
- [ ] People with kidney and bladder stones should avoid eating raspberries as they contain Oxalic acid.
- [ ] Raspberries are a good source of iron, folate, vitamin C, and potassium.
- [ ] Raspberries have bioflavonoids which can protect against cancer cells.
- [ ] 1 full cup of raspberries has 30mg of vitamin C, 30 mcg ( micrograms ) of folate, and 190mg of potassium.
- [ ] There's 7g of fiber in one cup of raw raspberries
- [ ] The seeds inside raspberries provide insoluble fiber that helps prevent constipation.
- [ ] Raspberries are also high in pectin, a form of soluble fiber that helps control blood cholesterol levels.
- [ ] Raspberries can be good for up to a year once frozen.

It was used for as an eye medicine to treat “dimness of sight.” It was used as an astringent, a diuretic, and as an aid for kidneys or the gout. The Cherokee and Houma tribes boiled the roots to make a drink for “menstruation troubles” and to induce miscarriages (to treat “suppressed menstruation”).
