By popular request, you can now attend my signature "Evening of Relaxation" workshops in person or virtually! Upcoming dates:

January 9 • February 6 • March 6 • April 3 • May 1

Each event takes place from 6-8pm CST at Be Love Yoga Studio Tulsa (or via Zoom!). If you sign up to attend virtually, you will have access to the recording for 24 hours after the event (so no need to worry about having to attend live if it doesn't work for your schedule)!

These are interesting times for all of us! It's been a couple weeks since I've given any massages, but the yoga studios have figured out a way to still provide classes virtually. This is fantastic because we need these tools now more than ever. In addition to teaching weekly virtual classes, tonight I'm offering A Virtual Evening of Relaxation for the first time ever! After you sign up, you'll receive an e-mail from The Yoga Room that will include the (Zoom) link for tonight's workshop, a PDF handout that you can download/print, and a suggested playlist that I made on Spotify.

With yoga studios pressing pause on in-person classes, a common thing that's happening is that the teachers are moving their platforms online! Have you had a chance to practice with any of your favorite instructors on FB or IG live? There are also many great classes offered on YouTube. One thing you might be running into is that you don't have all of your favorite props (i.e. bolster, strap, blocks, etc.) at home! No worries — I gotcha covered fam!

Don't have a bolster? Use a sleeping bag, some pillows, or rolled up towels/blankets.

Don't have blocks? Use books, tupperware, or free weights.

Don't have blankets? Use towels.

Don't have a strap? Use a belt, necktie, scarf, towel, exercise band, or jump rope.

Don't have a sandbag? Use a bag of rice or beans.

Don't have an eye pillow? Use a washcloth, scarf, headband, or clean sock.

Don't have a mat? Use your floor.

We can get creative. We need this practice now more than ever. Don't let a lack of props hold you back from getting on your mat (or floor 🥰).

About

“An Evening of Relaxation” is a two hour experience that includes guided breath work, meditation, restorative yoga, aromatherapy, sound therapy, and your choice of acupuncture or reflexology. During these events, Zachary offers his services to help you relax and recharge. In addition, he also teaches you tools and techniques to help reduce stress and anxiety in your daily life.

After spending most of a decade as a massage therapist, acupuncturist, and yoga instructor, Zachary developed the desire to work *with* people rather than on them. As a result, Zachary hosted his first Evening of Relaxation in 2017. Since then, it has become his signature workshop and a monthly staple on the Be Love calendar.

This workshop takes place at Be Love Yoga Studio Tulsa on the first Sunday of each month from 6-8pm. Tickets are $20. Be Love supplies all the necessary mats and props. All you have to do is show up. We look forward to seeing you there.
