For 35 years, our mission has stayed the same, make sure the men and women on the front lines have the medical gear they need when lives hang in the balance. Three years ago, we brought that mission to . And here, it’s our employees who carry it forward. They’re the ones who show up every day, putting in the time, skill, and attention to detail it takes to make sure every kit, bag, and module is right. Every once in a while, it’s important to stop, gather the team, and recognize the folks who make this place run. That’s exactly what we did at Chinook Medical Gear with our recent awards lunch. Good food, good company, and a chance to honor those who bring their best every single day.

One category stood out—Best Attitude. That’s the person who shows up ready to work, keeps spirits high, and lifts everyone around them.

This year, that honor went to Jenna.

Jenna earned this one fair and square. Her supervisor says it best. She works hard and never quits. Pays attention to every detail like it matters. Shows up on time and ready to roll every day. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear open chest wounds.

This is Cliff Laymon at the PJ Rodeo in Las Vegas, doing his best impression of a man who’s had a very bad day. Lucky for him, a bunch of medics were standing by with tourniquets, gauze, chest seals, and the kind of training that turns chaos into control.

They weren’t practicing on a manikin in an air-conditioned classroom. They were packing wounds in the dirt, under stress, using Chinook's gear—bleeding, responsive, and downright uncomfortable. Just like the real thing.
