I am introducing myself to the new people on my page and for those who do know me you might learn something new.
👋 I’m Toni (she/her) a Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher, Gentle Somatic Yoga Practitioner, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist.
In my past life 🧟♀️ I worked at a couple different airports for United Airlines, Allegiant, and T. S.A. To say I wanted to do something less stressful is an understatement. I also wanted to help people. So off I went to massage school. 👋 ✈️
💃 I use to dance (ballet & modern dance) till I fell down stairs and broke my leg but through that I received massages and felt the healing benefits of massage which then spiked my interest in Massage Therapy.
👩🏫 I have been in the Massage Therapy field for 12 years and I still love it! I also taught others how to find their passion and help others through Massage at Clary Sage College for 2 years. I love to learn and to teach.
📖 People will ask me what I specialize in and that is always challenging for me to narrow down. So instead I will share what most of my clients see me for and type of clientle.
💆♀️ For my massage clients the most popular modalities are Myofascial Release, Cupping, Deep Tissue, and Chronic Pain Relief. The typical clients are those with Chronic Pain of any age.
🧘♀️ For my yoga students they come to me for gentle flow, trauma informed based practice, gentle somatic yoga, TRX Yoga, beginner friendly yoga, and chair yoga. The majority of my yoga clientle are struggling with / working through trauma or are new to yoga. I teach mostly at Saint Francis Healthzone and the Humble Warrior Collective a great local non profit. My yoga schedule at Saint Francis Healthzone is Flow Sunday's at 3pm, Hatha Yoga Tuesday's at 9:45am, & TRX Yoga Saturday's at 8:30am (you must call to reserve your spot for TRX Yoga 918-494-1671). I also will start teaching a TRX Yoga class on Monday's at 7am at Physiques by Monique beginning this Monday!!!
💪 For personal training most clients that see me are new to movement and those with chronic pain. We typically begin with body weight training to ease into it and help strengthen bones. Most of my personal training clients are new to movement and those in perimenopause and menopause. I offer in person at Physiques by Monique, virtually, or in home sessions.
🐕 In my down time I love spending time with my husband Joel, our dogs Lily & Brookie, family, and friends.
I enjoy podcast especially crime podcast. I like lifting weights but you won't find me running unless its from something chasing me. 🤡
I love coffee especially with friends. ☕️
🏡 I moved to Tulsa about 13 years ago. I have lived all over the place but my favorite was Seattle, WA. I went to high school and college (studied dance at MSU) in the Springfield, MO area and most of my family lives there so I go there a lot!
⚖️ I have worked hard these last couple years to lose 50lbs and I am working hard to continue to lose more.
🤓 If we have not met I look forward to meeting you! If you are a current client thank you so much for your support and business. I greatly appreciate you all!
