It is with great sadness that we inform of our sweet George’s passing. He was surrounded by lots of love and tears as we said goodbye on December 23rd. At 17years old his kidneys went into failure. For more than 12 years he greeted all as the house mascot. He is missed immensely!

The clinic is being affected by Covid-19 this week. Please be patient with us while we are short staffed. We want to be upfront about our recent exposure to the virus and will accommodate clients accordingly.

We are encouraging clients to wear masks for your protection. We are also happy to offer curbside service for appointments or for picking up prescriptions.

If you receive a vaccine reminder postcard this week and don’t have any other health concerns for your pet, please consider calling us NEXT week to free up our phone lines for urgent calls.

Great news for animal lovers who have been picking up lost pets with nowhere to take them, and for lost and homeless animals who need shelter in the coldest months of the year.

“The shelter reopens Thursday at 12 p.m., coinciding with a free adoption event that will run through Sunday.

TAW will waive all adoption fees for available dogs, which includes microchipping, the cost of spaying and neutering and age-appropriate vaccinations. Anyone looking to adopt will have to make an appointment in advance.”

Tulsa Animal Welfare announced the shelter's reopening plans Wednesday along with a free adoption event.
