TODAY IS NATIVE AMERICAN DAY IN TULSA!

Today is also the 2025 Tulsa Native American Day Celebration (Indigenous People's Day)— a day to recognize Native culture, tradition and enduring contributions to our community.

Native American Day acknowledges the legacy, cultures and contributions of Native people in our city and region. Tulsa resides on the ancestral lands of many tribal nations, and this day serves as both a celebration and reflection of their continued impact.

OCTOBER IS NATIONAL ADOPT A SHELTER DOG MONTH!

Adopt a Shelter Dog Month is a yearly observance, typically in October, that highlights the need for adopting dogs from shelters and rescues, raises awareness about shelter overcrowding, and encourages people to give loving homes to deserving animals.
