To my patients, colleagues, and friends:
I have a very big announcement! I have decided to retire from medicine this Summer, 2025.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my 27 years practicing obstetrics and gynecology. I consider it an honor and privilege to be a physician.
I have felt God nudging me over the past year or so, but I resisted. More recently, He is full on shoving me. I am retiring for self-preservation. This job is just too taxing on me, my wife (she runs our office), and our family. Our 9 year old deserves her parents’ focus and attention, rather than all of our energy going into the preservation of a business.
I know that this will mean something different for each of you. I will do my best to make this transition as easy as possible.
I am happy to inform you that Dr. Dietz is planning to continue practicing. If there are changes to her practice, we will notify her patients as soon as possible.
I wish to thank all of my patients, my family, Dr. Dietz (who has been an excellent partner), my nurse Barbara, and my staff: Heather, Amy, Allie, and Chelsey.
I also need to thank my former business partners, my current call partners, and my fellow physicians at St. John. I appreciate the care you give your patients, your willingness to assist when asked, and your lending an ear when needed.
Special shoutout to Barbara for 14 years of excellent patient care. We made a really good team!
With gratitude,
Dr. Parham
