Chris and Jennifer Giles have joined the incredible team of professional counselors at Christian Family Institute! Chris and Jennifer provide professional, practical, insightful and caring counseling services to adolescents, adults, couples and families. We have a passion for helping people heal from painful experiences, create sustainable and pleasing relationships and achieve life goals. Our Story:

Chris Giles & Jennifer (Culis) Giles, met in 1995 at Southwest Baptist University. They attended psychology and sociology classes together and dreamed of marrying and working in private practice together. Chris and Jennifer work to strengthen individuals, couples and families through professional, insightful and caring therapy. Education:

Chris Giles - BS degree in Psychology and Sociology at Southwest Baptist University. MS degree in Marital and Family Therapy at Oklahoma Baptist University. Earned certification as a Marital and Family Therapist. Employed for 8 years with Brookhaven Hospital in Tulsa, OK. Self Employed in private practice for 4 1/2 years in Tulsa, OK

Jennifer Giles - BS degree in Psychology and Sociology at Southwest Baptist University. MS degree in Counseling Psychology at Northeastern State University, OK. Earned certification as Licensed Professional Counselor. Employed for 7 years with Family and Children's Services. In the midst of all of that education and employment, Chris and Jennifer were blessed with two beautiful daughters. Parenting issues are at the forefront of their minds and are a specialty for the couple at this time. Areas of Specialty include:

Chris Giles - Men's issues, premarital counseling (Prepare/Enrich provider), marital therapy, divorce recovery, grief, depression, anger, healing from resentment and past hurts, anxiety, stress, sexual addictions, creating and attaining life goals, spiritual issues. Jennifer Giles - Women's issues, premarital counseling (Prepare/Enrich provider), parenting concerns, marital therapy, divorce recovery, grief, preparing for the death or loss of a loved one, recovery from traumatic events, adoption, depression, anxiety, stress, creating and attaining life goals, spiritual issues. Here is the link to Empowered To Connect simulcast. The information shared in the conference will be based on Dr. Karyn Purvis' Trust Based Relational Interventions. This is excellent information for ALL parents, foster families, adoptive families, church leadership, teachers, counseling professionals. Southern Hills Baptist Church is hosting this simulcast FREE of charge! Booklets are $5.50. Must register by emailing mollyKshockley@hotmail.com BY FEB 27th if you want a book!!!! Our church is located @ 56th & Lewis. Class is 9-5 both days, Friday April 10 and Saturday April 11. 1.5 hour break for lunch.
