Your body isn't your enemy đź’™ It's been carrying you through every moment of your life, adapting and supporting you even when you haven't been kind to it. Instead of fighting against it, what if you started listening to what it needs? Rest when it's tired. Nourish it with foods that make you feel good. Move it in ways that bring you joy.

Everything really is connected - your thoughts, feelings, and physical wellbeing all influence each other. When you shift from battling your body to working with it, you might be surprised by how much changes.

Swimming doesn’t necessarily mean laps. The pool is an amazing place for cross training for individuals that don’t normally exercise in the pool.

This morning I was researching ingredients in a protein shake that uses Pea Protein Isolate. This is a great article explaining what it is, and how it is derived. Worth a read.

Truth.
I feel blessed that I get to teach adults (beginner, and advanced ) swimmers. it is a lot harder than it looks from the outside (deck or weight room). It takes a different kind of mindset, training, and patience.

Had my first experience as a volunteer at an Ironman. The training that these athletes go through is astounding. I am so grateful that I get to be part of their training journey. As a swim specialist, I often here “just get through the swim!”

Yet, with a little bit of focused training and understanding, the swim portion can be your friend, and even save you time in the rest of your event.
