Meet Marley! When Marley's owner noticed that she was starting to limp on her left rear leg, she took her to her veterinarian to evaluate. An x-ray showed a bone tumor in one of the bones in her foot. A biopsy confirmed the suspicion of osteosarcoma, an aggressive type of bone cancer. Marley underwent an amputation followed by a course of chemotherapy. She recently finished treatment. We are very proud of you Marley!

Meet Leven! Leven was diagnosed with lymphoma by his primary care veterinarian after the owner had noticed that all of his lymph nodes were suddenly enlarged. Leven was referred to us and treatment started the same day. He has done very well with minimal side effects other than a few treatment delays due to low blood cell counts. Leven is one of the most gentle, sweetest boys around and we have truly enjoyed having him as a patient! Great job Leven!

Meet Sassy! She is a 3 year old Saint Bernard/Poodle. Sassy had a marble sized mass removed off the base of her skull that was diagnosed as a basosquamous carcinoma. Sassy had trouble healing from the original surgery as the incision kept oozing and opening up. She ultimately needed a scar revision which yielded a clean margin and allowed for proper healing. Once Sassy was healed, she started on chemotherapy and has done so well! She finished her protocol recenly and was happy to graduate!

This adorable little guy is Re*****on! During a routine a**l gland expression, a technician discovered that he had a mass in his right a**l gland. The mass was surgically removed and diagnosed as an adenocarcinoma. He went for Dallas for radiation therapy and then followed up here with us for chemotherapy.. This little trooper has done very well through all of this and recently got to graduate and pick a toy! Fun fact, the hair around his radiation site (his rear end) is growing back grey where it used to be tan! This is a common side effect of radiation and always gives us a smile!

Meet Genteel and her sweet mom! We have been seeing Genteel since June for mammary carcinoma. Genteel started on one type of injectable chemotherapy, but since she had multiple treatment delays due to low white blood cell counts, she finished out her protocol on a different type of injectable treatment and did great. In spite of her low counts, she felt great through everything and was amused with our toy options and snacks at her graduation!

This happy girl is Lucy! Lucy was diagnosed with mammary cancer after a lump that had been there for a year suddenly had rapid growth. It was removed and unfortunately came back as an aggressive breast cancer. Lucy has been undergoing chemotherapy treatments and she has done great! She was so glad we had a bone to choose from the toy basket for graduation, she layed down and went right to chewing it. Happy graduation day Lucy!

Meet Pacifica and her dad! We have been treating Pacifica for a mast cell tumor. Her treatment type was a pill, so she got a yummy treat every time she came to see us. She was a little nervous at first, but it didn't take her long to realize we were the treat place. This girl did so well with her chemo and we were so happy to see her graduate and pick a toy!
