Resonance Center for Women

Resonance Center for Women Helping women change--for good.

Resonance provides tools for women to:
- learn how to stay clean and sober (counseling sessions)
- provide a safe, loving environment for their children (housing assistance)
- be the role model mother they never had (mentoring)
- get a decent job (work readiness training and transportation assistance)
- plan for a hopeful future as they learn from their past (transitional employment opportunities)

Did you know? Stable housing and employment are two of the strongest predictors of reduced recidivism.

That’s why Resonance Center for Women focuses on both.

During National Criminal Justice Month, we invite you to be part of the solution — whether that’s:
• Dining at Take 2 Café
• Volunteering
• Donating
• Sharing our mission

Justice isn’t just about consequences.
It’s about restoration.

A fun evening with friends from Riverview Baptist Church. The women shared a meal and made bookmarks. Everyone enjoyed their time together! Our housing residents said they left with “their cups full” and "grateful so many wonderful people in the community care about them".

The women in our program are so LUCKY to have the support of so many! 🍀

Weather Haag, who works for the Tulsa County Courts Program, stopped by for a night of cooking and fellowship with our transitional living clients. The women had a great time with Weather and are looking forward to her coming back this week for bingo!

If you are interested in hosting our clients for a craft or cooking night, we’d love to hear from you! It’s always a fun time. Email development@resonancetulsa.org for more details.

Swipe through for pictures of a recent community cooking night with a few of our amazing volunteers! Resonance is so grateful for our friends who continue to show up to fellowship with and encourage the women in our program. The focus of this evening was healthy eating – the women cooked a nutritious meal together and learned about the gut-brain connection and its impact on mental health.

March is National Criminal Justice Month.

At Resonance Center for Women, we serve many women who are rebuilding their lives after incarceration. What they need most isn’t judgment — it’s housing, employment, community, and support.

When we invest in women, we reduce recidivism, strengthen families, and build a safer Tulsa for everyone.

Justice doesn’t end at release. That’s where our work begins.

Our team had a great time at the Tulsa Area United Way Awards luncheon. We were thrilled to be among a great group of nominees for the Illuminate award!

We’re also especially grateful for the recognition Resonance received in the Day of Caring video. Tulsa Area United Way is a faithful champion and advocate for Tulsa area non-profits! And a special shout out to Williams for the support they provide each year to beautify our properties.
