Volunteers provide such an important service to our hospice patients and we are truly appreciative of all they do for us. From baking cakes for patient birthdays to spending a couple of hours every week with them; volunteers are the heart of hospice.

We are looking for volunteers!

Want to engage your heart, mind and spirit? Consider becoming a Hospice Volunteer with Rivercross Hospice Volunteer program. We provide services for the mind, body, and spirit to increase the quality of life in patient's who are terminally ill all throughout NE Oklahoma.

Here are some ways you can help your community:

Friendly visits: Provide companionship to patients at home or in a skilled nursing facility through social and emotional presence, and spiritual support; Engaging in activities through conversation, listening, reading, singing, playing games, or in the creative arts; Providing caregiver relief for naps, errands, appointments or social time.

We are also looking for licensed cosmetologists, photographers, and certified Therapy animals.

Office Support: Provide telephone support, filing, assembling admission packets, prepare mailings, and supporting the hospice staff with other office duties.

Special Projects: Sewing memory bears for bereaved families; greeting card creation, lap blankets, beanies, and more.
