Our Beautiful friend became an Angel this morning. Please Continue prayers for her family for strength and peace in their hearts. ❤️🙏
No words can describe the positive impact Jordan made on so many people. To know her was to feel seen and loved deeply.

A sweet friend sent this yesterday.

Dear heavenly father,
We thank you that her suffering will stop immediately. Nothing can stop the freight train of grief and sadness and anger that we feel, but you know our hearts God please be with her, please be right beside her as you welcome her.

Amen 🙏

The room with the window is my favorite. ☀️
Feeling positive today because I got good news yesterday! My tumor markers are back down to normal levels. This test has been pretty spot on when treatment is working and when it’s not. Prayers it continues in the right direction!

I hate to be making this post yet again, but cancer doesn’t care.
I’m healing well from surgery, and the surgical areas look good; however, there are new metastatic lesions on my liver. There are also concerning enlarged lymph nodes in my neck, chest, and abdomen.
I will start a new chemo treatment back home as soon as possible. The oncologist says additional surgery is probably no longer an option; they are calling it “disease control.”
Pray for peace and comfort, please. I am sad but clinging to God to bring me some sort of miracle. And no matter what, I’ll keep praying and fighting for each day with my family. 💙

Haven’t updated in a hot minute! My hair is coming in thick! I have eyebrows and eyelashes again too. 👏

It’s been 3 months since my last chemo treatment and 2 months since surgery. I feel pretty good and I’ve just been healing and spending as much time with my family and friends as possible.

Tomorrow we are flying back to Houston. I’ve got scans early Sunday (crazy they are open on a Sunday) and appointments Monday. We don’t know what these scans are going to look like and the unknown has been very rough. We have no clue if I’m looking at more treatment or what the future holds.

Prayers for safe travels and peace for this unknown would be so appreciated!

Hope to be updating with positive news in a few days. 💙

As I’ve had time to sit and reflect that has also come with the stressors of the financial burden/situation we are in. We have had to pay for countless things out of pocket as a new year started and my meds alone were over $100. Not to mention the out of pocket hanging over our heads from 2024 and now 2025.
I hate asking but also know that there’s no shame in it given my situation. We are exhausting all of our accounts and it’s getting worrisome. I am not even being considered released to go back to work for at least another month. I feel like such a burden on my poor husband who is working tirelessly to provide. If you can find it in your heart to donate I will link my stuff below.
As always I appreciate every single one of you and love you. God has put this on me for a reason and I’m taking it day by day but I have to stop and ask for help along the way from my village.

I don’t think I updated here when I was released from the hospital. I got released on Friday morning and we’ve just been relaxing with short walks here and there. I thought I posted this yesterday but it didn’t post!
I felt pretty good yesterday and this was from my short walk around Hope Cancer Retreat! It’s so beautiful here.
I’m feeling better every day. Just need these dang drains out this week so I can come home. I may be a little homesick. But mom and and I are having fun just hanging out. So glad I have her in my life. She’s the best. 💙

Got back to my room just a bit ago from my new drain procedure. Everything went well. Kinda got hit hard with a few things. Abcess of fluid in my abdomen, rhinovirus, kidney infection, and a UTI. I spiked a fever yesterday morning and felt very achy and had a high heart rate so off to the ER we went. They got me back quickly and accessed. (I cannot stress how wonderful MD Anderson has been) I’ve had several rounds of IV antibiotics and the procedure for the new drain is sore but already providing relief from the bloated painful area. This is why they wanted me staying close and I’m so glad we came in.
They sent some of this new fluid off for testing and are waiting for a few cultures to come back. They will probably keep me here through Friday for monitoring.
I am doing my best to remain positive and keep my head held high. I know I have a huge support thinking and praying for me around the clock and that gods got me.
Also my mom is the best caregiver and I am so glad she is here. However I do miss Josiah and Hadlee something fierce.

Minor set back today. Jordan spiked a small fever. She has some fluid build up that they plan to drain tomorrow. She’s still in good spirits and her mom is taking care of her. Keep the prayers coming.
Also, can we talk about how gorgeous she looks?❤️❤️

Hello everyone! I just wanted to give yall an update! I am back at the Hope Cancer Retreat. I cannot fathom how wonderful it’s been to have the comfort and privacy of our own place. Not to mention Jenny has made it so homely and comfortable. It’s crucial to my healing to be able to just rest. I’ve gotten up and around and walked quite a bit today and am wiped out, but feel so much better each day. Thank you everyone for prayers and support.
