Meet your Breathe team: This is one of our birth assistants, Deirdre! Some of you might recognize her as she has been one of our primary birth assistants until recently. This is a bittersweet post because not only are we highlighting her but also saying goodbye. Deirdre has been with Breathe from almost the beginning. She has taught yoga classes, moonlighted at the front desk, helped teach classes and has been a doula to many Breathe mommas over the years. She is a soft-spoken yet powerful birth worker whose calm, grounding presence has become a source of strength for countless mothers. With a gentle voice and a heart full of compassion, Deirdre brings peace and quiet confidence into every birth space she enters.

As her family grows and her needs change, she is not stepping out of the birth world entirely but taking a small step back. She will continue to accept doula clients on a limited basis. You can find her on social media at Virtualdoula.io.

Meet your Breathe Team: This is one of our birth assistants, Paige! She has been with us since January of 2023 assisting our moms in labor and more recently, helping out with postpartum visits. Prior to that she worked as a labor and delivery nurse for 4 1/2 years. Paige is a quick-witted, big-hearted mom of three (two were born at Breathe!) who somehow manages to juggle motherhood, a career as a birth worker and a never-ending supply of wild, hilarious stories that are constantly cracking the staff up. Think toddler tantrums, glitter explosions and backing her SUV into her own garage door 😬. She’s doing it all, from wrangling kids (and chickens) to beekeeping to coaching a first time mom through labor with calm confidence and just the right amount of humor. She’s the kind of birth worker who knows when to crack a joke and when to hold space. And it’s her birthday today!!! We love you Paige and hope you have the BEST birthday!!

Hello Mamas!!
We are so excited to invite you to our next Mama Herd Postpartum and Breastfeeding Support group!! We would love to have you and your infant up to 6-8 months (Unfortunately, this is for infants only and not older siblings).

Our next meetings will be Wednesday, AUGUST 20TH from 10am-12pm at Breathe Birth and Wellness, located at 4755 E. 91st St., Suite A in Tulsa.

Please come join us for casual fellowship with other mamas in the trenches of newborn life. We will offer weighted feedings if desired. This group is free but we do ask that you please register with the link below to reserve your spot.
