We’re excited to share that the City has received a grant to create a musical road right here in Tulsa! Soon, you’ll be able to drive along a stretch of historic Route 66 and hear a tune play beneath your wheels - a brand-new attraction celebrating our city’s place on America’s Mother Road.

The musical road will be installed on the Southwest Boulevard Bridge, which runs parallel to the Cyrus Avery Memorial Bridge. The musical roadway is expected to be installed in March of 2026. Watch for more information!

As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday, please note these office closures and service adjustments for the week.

Nov. 27-28 Service Impacts:
Residential refuse, recycling and curbside yard waste will be shifted one day. Thursday customers will receive service on Friday, and Friday customers will receive service on Saturday, Nov. 29.
MetroLink Tulsa will not provide services on Nov. 27
