We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Robie Herman, a beloved figure in our community whose dedication touched so many lives. His impact was profound, and we know that many of you are grieving alongside us. Our hearts are with you, and our doors are always open if you’d like to share memories, find comfort, or simply talk. We are here to support one another—through the sadness, the tears, and the healing.

As we navigate this loss together, we also want to honor Dr. Herman’s legacy by continuing the exceptional care he provided. Dr. Matt Hall is truly honored that Dr. Herman chose him to care for his Superior Care Orthodontics family. Dr. Hall is a local orthodontist who owns Tangelo Orthodontics – an established private practice in Tulsa. Over the past few months, many of you have already had the chance to meet Dr. Hall at your appointments at Superior Care.

If you are a current or former patient of Dr. Herman—or if you are looking for an orthodontic team that genuinely cares—we welcome you with open arms. Dr. Hall, and the team you know and love, are here to ensure a smooth and comfortable transition with the same warmth, expertise, and excellence that Dr. Herman was known for. Our beloved Orthodontist.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Robert Herman. As many of you know, he had been fighting a hard battle with a cancer diagnosis for over a year. He has been so dedicated to his patients and the entire team that he worked through the most trying time of his life, often times seeing patients in the morning, going for his treatments at lunch, and then coming back and seeing patients in the afternoon. During his fight, one of his biggest concerns and priority was making sure his patients were taken care of, and he did just that.

Dr. Herman was a mentor, friend, and inspiration to countless people. His love to his profession was evident and the loss of such an amazing man will be felt by so many.

He has become more than just an employer to us all, he is a friend. A friend that has provided so much guidance, love, and patience to us that will be with us for a lifetime. He has shown us the meaning of true dedication and hard work and we will strive to continue the legacy that he has built.

Dr. Herman was a man of God, married to the love of his life (his High School sweetheart) Krista, and an extremely proud father of his three children; Caroline, Jack, and Ella Kate. His love for his family was so strong and the core of him as a person.

Dr. Herman is already extremely missed, but the impact he has made in this world, the dental community far and wide and on all of us will be what we all remember most and are so thankful for.

Please keep his family in your prayers during this time.

His service will be on Friday, February 14th, at 11:00am at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church (4001 E 101st St, Tulsa, OK 74137). Our office will be closed during that time to honor our friend.
