MyHealth Access Network

MyHealth Access Network MyHealth Access Network is a non-profit health information exchange created in 2009 by healthcare industry stakeholders across the state of Oklahoma.

Now, MyHealth is Oklahoma's state designated HIE, improving quality care for nearly 4 million patients. …for Physicians and Other Healthcare Professionals

MyHealth Access Network links more than 2,000 providers and their patients in a community-wide health information system that will help provider’s better monitor and improve care to:

-Reduce health care costs associated with redundant testing, hospital admissions, and emergency department visits
-Improve care coordination during transitions between health care settings
-Improve patients’ experience and ability to take control of their own health
-Improve quality care for the state of Oklahoma and its nearly 4 million patients
-Bring community leaders and organizations together to utilize health information in meaningful ways to improve community care

…for Patients

If you’ve ever had to fill out the same form several times, or new forms with the same information, you’ve experienced the need for information sharing between doctors. Because patients may see several different physicians besides their primary care provider, different sets of medical records for the same patient can be found in different offices. This creates annoying paperwork for you, the patient, but also creates a very real risk that you could be prescribed a medication that you are allergic to, or are already taking, or that you will receive the same tests you have already undergone (and paid for). In the unfortunate event that you are unable to give a complete medical history to the doctor (for example, in the event of a car accident, or if you don’t recall all of your medicines or test results from memory), MyHealth Access Network is there to provide that information to the doctor, and ensure that you get the highest quality care at every encounter.

…for the Community

As an independent, non-profit organization, we are dedicated to serving all of MyHealths’s healthcare stakeholders including physicians, hospitals, behavioral health, emergency medical services, public health, long-term care, laboratories, imaging centers, health plans, communities and patients. In partnership with the communities and people we serve, we have developed rigorous data use policies and a strong trust network. This is the essential foundation of our HIE network and crucial to effective data exchange.

Families throughout Oklahoma step up in more ways than one to ensure loved ones with complex medical needs receive the care and support they need. From coordinating appointments, keeping track of medications, and advocating every step of the way, their work deserves recognition and support throughout the entire care journey.

Healthcare providers using Oklahoma’s HIE, MyHealth, can access more complete patient information, helping reduce the time family caregivers spend repeating histories and maintaining comprehensive medical details. When care teams share information effectively, families can focus more on what matters most: being there for the people they love.

This month, we honor family caregivers and the essential role they play in better health for our communities.

Oklahoma is home to many Tribal Nations with rich histories, strong cultural traditions, and a deep commitment to the well-being of their communities. Native American Heritage Month provides an important opportunity to honor these contributions and recognize the leadership that continues to strengthen health across our state.

Tribal representation plays an essential role in shaping the future of statewide health information exchange, and we are grateful for the continued engagement with MyHealth through governance efforts that help ensure our work reflects the needs and priorities of Tribal communities.

This month, and every month, we celebrate the partnership of Tribal Nations as we work together to support healthier futures for all Oklahomans.

Rural healthcare professionals play a vital role in keeping Oklahoma’s communities healthy and thriving. They care for families who live miles apart, respond to emergencies where every minute matters, and build trusted relationships that last generations.

Strong rural health means stronger towns, stronger economies, and a stronger Oklahoma. Today we celebrate and thank the providers, clinic staff, and hospital teams who deliver compassionate care where it is needed most.

Your dedication supports the heart and wellbeing of our state.

Join MyHealth and OFMQ for a free webinar on the benefits of HIE for Pediatricians and Family Medicine providers.

Pediatric and Family Medicine clinicians are often the central point of connection for a child’s health, especially when specialists, urgent care visits, and school-based services are involved. Timely access to clinical information can make a meaningful difference in keeping families supported and care plans on track.

The MyHealth Provider Portal brings together key health information from across Oklahoma so primary care teams can view recent test results, encounter histories, immunizations, and medication updates in one secure place. With a more complete view of the child’s health journey, providers spend less time searching for information and more time delivering care that keeps kids healthy.

Stronger connections among care teams support better outcomes for Oklahoma families. Diabetes care improves when every provider can see the complete picture. Through the MyHealth Provider Portal, clinicians can securely access A1C lab results from multiple care settings in one place. The Laboratory Results widget, paired with other patient history insights, helps providers track trends, reduce unnecessary repeat tests, and respond more quickly when levels change. Care teams gain shared visibility, and patients benefit from earlier interventions and more coordinated treatment plans.
