Did you know many everyday items in our homes can be dangerous for our pets? Pet Poison Prevention Week is the perfect reminder to keep our furry family members safe!

⚠️ Common pet toxins include:
• Chocolate
• Grapes & raisins
• Xylitol (commonly found in sugar-free gum & candy)
• Certain plants including Tulips and Mums
• Human medications such as Tylenol, Aspirin, and Ibuprofen
• Household cleaners

🐶🐱Pet Safety Tips:
✔️ Store food, meds, and cleaners out of reach
✔️ Keep purses and bags off the floor
✔️ Check plants before bringing them into your home
✔️ Contact your vet and ASPCA Poison Control immediately if you suspect poisoning

Did you know that Dr. Lewis has been apart of Chimney Hills Animal Hospital for 13 years?! Not only is he our renowned boxer loving veterinarian, he is also our practice owner! Dr. Chad Lewis approaches each patient with empathy, patience, and respect, recognizing the emotional bond between pets and their owners. His compassion also extends beyond his clinical expertise. He prioritizes an environment where high standards of medical care are upheld, team members feel supported and empowered, and both patients and our team can thrive.
