Dee is the heart of Tulsa YogaQuest.
She’s been practicing hot yoga since the late 1990s, finding her way to the 26 & 2 series during a time when her body was rebuilding strength and stamina. With a background in dance, the practice clicked immediately. It gave her the structure, discipline, and movement her body needed, and it’s been part of her life ever since.
When Dee talks about YogaQuest, she always comes back to the same thing: the people. The relationships. The community that shows up day after day, year after year. For her, this space isn’t just about postures or sweating it out. It’s about staying active, connected, and supporting a long, healthy life with quality and intention.
If you’re new to hot yoga, Dee’s advice is simple. Start where you are. Try the 60-minute class. Stay hydrated the day before. Wear what’s comfortable. Take breaks when you need them. This isn’t a competition. You work with the body you bring to class that day.
YogaQuest has grown to offer much more than hot yoga, but the heart of it remains the same. A welcoming space, a variety of practices, and a community that feels like family.
If you’ve been curious, come meet the community. See if it’s a fit. We’d love to have you.
