Say Hi to our Member of the month- Marci J

"One of my best friends invited me to a Bikram Yoga class in Park City, Utah about 15 years ago. I was totally freaked out by the heat and left the hot room 3 times during the first class. Fortunately my teacher, Gwen, followed me out and said, “come back and maybe you will only have to leave twice next time.” So I did. And I have stayed with it.

I have worked as a therapist, a teacher, and am currently a school principal. Yoga has been my absolute go to for stress relief and self care. I can have the worst day, sweat it off at yoga, and go home feeling great.

When I am not working or doing yoga I love biking, hiking, concerts, traveling and books. You will most often see me at yogaQUEST with Ed, my partner in crime. Our family consists of a daughter, two sons, a granddaughter, and two puppies- Henri and Maggie. ❤️"

New PPH Classes start 9/15!
Monday & Thursday at 12pm with Willems

Are you ready for a challenging full-body workout using Pilates principles? Show up for this high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that is a low-impact, safe practice for all fitness levels of students.

Each workout will strengthen your abs, glutes, and legs, with some cardio blast in between. You are in charge of your intensity as the instructor offers options for most exercises. This class is heated to about 95deg- Be prepared to sweat!

**Mats are required for this class. Please arrive 15 minutes before class time. Doors will be locked at class time.

Step into this empowering women's self-defense class at .jiujitsu designed to give you practical tools, awareness, and confidence in any situation. You’ll learn how to build a confident mindset, protect your personal space, and set clear boundaries. We’ll explore common misconceptions and mistakes, then walk through real-life scenarios to strengthen your awareness and response. With hands-on distance training, you’ll discover how to control your safety zones—whether it’s recognizing when to run, using effective striking, escaping a clinch, or getting back on your feet from the ground. Each step of the way, you’ll practice simple yet powerful self-defense techniques to keep yourself safe. The class wraps up with a Q&A and troubleshooting, so you leave feeling prepared, capable, and confident. Minimum age 12 years.

**Yoga Nidra: A Deeply Restorative Experience** ‍

Join us for an hour of deep rest through **Yoga Nidra**, a guided meditation practice often called “yogic sleep.” This powerful technique guides you to the peaceful state between wakefulness and sleep, promoting profound physical and mental healing.

Yoga Nidra has been shown to ease insomnia, reduce anxiety, relieve stress, and foster a sense of calm, clarity, and inner peace. Whether you're new to meditation or just in need of deep rest, this experience is for you.

**What to Expect:**
We’ll begin with gentle stretching to help settle into your body. Then, you'll lie down and get as comfortable as possible for the guided meditation. You'll remain still for the duration (unless you need to adjust), simply listening and relaxing. If you drift off—that’s okay! Many do, and your teacher will gently wake you if needed.

**What to Bring:**

* Yoga mat
* Pillows or bolsters
* Blanket(s) for under and over you
* Any props that help you feel supported while lying down

Some blankets will be available at the studio, but feel free to bring whatever you need to feel cozy and supported.

Let your body rest. Let your mind soften. Let your whole being reset.
