Shifting from Summer into Fall can be a welcome transition -and- bring with it itโ€™s fair share of discomfort.

As we move from hot, intense summer/pitta season to the dry, cool and busy fall/Vata season, your nervous system will need a little something different.

1) Move your body a little every day. Move nice and slow and build heat by adding weights or walking hills.

2) Focus on warmth. Warm food, warm scents, warm clothes, warm baths & warm drinks.

3) Create a routine. Start and/or end your day with something predictable.

4) Reflect on your time. Limit feeling resentful and rushed by taking a pause before committing to any requests. Practice saying, โ€œLet me get back with you.โ€

5) Carve out quiet time. Make time to be quiet in a quiet place daily. Start with 3-5 minutes and increase gradually.

No need to try all 5 right now. Pick one, integrate it for a couple weeks then decide if you want to add another.
