Tulsa Gastrointestinal Consultants PLLC

Tulsa Gastrointestinal Consultants PLLC This micropractice is committed to restoring the timeless essence of medicine – where the doctor-patient relationship is built on trust and respect.

Dr. Dushyant Singh is a board-certified gastroenterologist known for his compassionate, wholistic approach to digestive health. Trained at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where he completed his residency (and elected to be a Chief Resident), along with GI fellowship, he is recognized for clinical excellence and has been honored with distinctions including Alpha Omega Alpha and Fellowship in the American College of Physicians. Dr. Singh blends modern medical science with Eastern wellness principles, with special interests in nutrition, mind-gut health, and whole-person care. He has founded this practice to restore the essence of medicine—where trust, listening, and meaningful relationships are central to healing. Patients describe him as thorough, empathetic, and deeply committed to their well-being. Outside of medicine, he enjoys life with his wife and two daughters, practices daily meditation, and stays active through travel, golf, strength training, and learning the violin. For Dr. Singh, medicine is more than science—it is an honor, a way to serve, to bring hope, and to build meaningful relationships that foster healing in its truest form.

Did you know?

Laughter actually does a lot for your gut.
😂 1. Stimulates Digestion
🧠 2. Reduces Stress Hormones

The gut has over 100 million nerve cells — more than the spinal cord — which is why emotions like laughter directly affect digestion. That “gut feeling” is very real.

- Have a wonderful weekend 💙

𝕋𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕜 ℙ𝕠𝕤𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕖 𝕋𝕙𝕦𝕣𝕤𝕕𝕒𝕪:

Fun GI Facts of the Day- 🧪
Your stomach acid is strong enough to dissolve metal — it has a pH of about 1–2, similar to battery acid 🤯

Don’t panic though. Your stomach protects itself with a thick mucus lining that constantly regenerates. When that protection breaks down? Hello, ulcers.

Wild part: antacids don’t “turn off” acid — they just neutralize it a bit, like adding milk to spicy food.

February is Gastrointestinal Health Awareness Month 💕

👉 Your gut has its own “second brain.”
It’s called the enteric nervous system and has over 100 million nerve cells—that’s more than your spinal cord! It helps control digestion and plays a role in mood, which is why gut issues can affect how you feel emotionally.

So yeah… butterflies in your stomach? Totally real science. 🦋

Our office will not be opened tomorrow, but calls will be returned as quickly as possible.

❄️ Procedures are still as scheduled, Dr. Singh will still be at the hospital. We do not want you to chance it if you dont feel comfortable. But make that decision soon because prep starts soon for some! 😉
