God's beauty is so awesome to see!! This morning, we found a newly hatched, from its chrysalis, Monarch Butterfly in our butterfly garden. We also have 6 Swallowtail caterpillars in the garden. (I attached a picture of what the Swallowtails will look like.) Nature at her best! These little miracles put smiles on many of our residents and staff faces. We look forward to seeing the butterfly population grow each year, especially the Monarch. Monarch numbers decline each year due to development and pesticides. Here at Tulsa Nursing Center, we are doing our part to help ensure the number stays high by planting a butterfly garden that we make sure to add Milkweed to for the Monarch. 🦋🦋
