Even with this little rain 🌧️ Wells and water supply is low!

Drought can affect water sources differently. Deep wells may stay reliable, while springs can dry up even in mild drought. Private wells and springs may face reduced supply or poorer quality, with higher risks of contamination. In some cases, they may run dry, so managing water use during drought is important!

I’ve linked some information how to conserve water and other resources.

Remember if your well is low or dried up contact myself, brenda fields or go to this link to report.

Reporting low water and or outages notify the state how critical this Is! Will help get resources to help!

I am trying to work on a sign ups for anyone who need showers and there are water sources in town that you can fill up.

I am cleaning out and inventorying my Tunbridge medical closet this Wednesday morning 8/6 with a few volunteers. I was wondering if anyone had sheets or cloth they would like to donate so once we clean equipment we could cover the equipment to keep clean for use in the future.

Data shared today at the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) provides the first robust evidence that healthy living—including physical activity, healthy diet and memory and problem-solving exercises—can help protect people who carry the APOE-e4 gene variant from cognitive decline.

The takeaway: While genetics can put you at risk, healthy living may help you lower it.
