Healthy Life Solutions is excited to Welcome Angie Gillespie to our staff!

Angie Gillespie is a Board Certified Mental Health Counselor specializing in issues of anxiety and depression with adults and adolescents utilizing a cognitive behavioral therapeutic approach. Angie believes it is important to give people an opportunity to share their struggles in a safe, supportive space so they can become a better, healthier version of themselves. This deep commitment to helping others led Angie to leave a fifteen year career in business management to pursue her passion of providing mental health counseling that leads to emotional wellbeing.

A lifelong Mississippi resident, Angie earned a Master of Education degree in community mental health counseling from Delta State University, building on her previous accomplishments in management and training. She has spent the fifteen years since then building specific expertise in the areas of relationships, trauma, abuse, grief, health, parenting, peer relations, career development, addiction, and life transitions.

Angie knows that achieving healthy mental wellbeing can be a difficult process and believes in helping her clients take charge of their lives through their thoughts and actions to achieve the success they desire.

Amy Thomas is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Amy has fifteen combined years of experience in the medical and mental health fields. She often says that she believes the field of mental health chose her and it just felt natural to follow. Her focus has always been to help individuals improve their lives by improving their mental health. She takes pride in the success of her patients' becoming the best they can be.

After receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Mississippi State University, Amy worked as a therapist in community health at Region III, presently known as LifeCore. Amy left there to broaden her scope of care returning to school. She graduated from Mississippi University of Women with a Nursing Degree and then received a Master's of Nursing specializing in Psychiatry from the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Amy began her Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner career in Huntsville, Alabama at the Tennessee Valley LIfe Center with psychiatrist, Dr.Sariya Kumar. In 2019, she moved back to her hometown of Tupelo,MS with her husband and daughter. Most recently, Amy worked at Right Track Medical Group.

Amy is excited and honored to be opening Healthy LIfe Solutions where she looks forward to serving the people of Lee County and the surrounding area. She treats patients of all ages or children, adolescents and adults.
