Our Regional Marketing Assistant, Lexi Black, proudly helped out the St. Luke Food Pantry in Tupelo, MS by preparing food boxes for residents in Lee County! It was a truly rewarding experience to see the care and dedication that goes into ensuring food-insecure residents receive the essential resources they need.

Southern Magnolia Golden is excited to announce our new Executive Director, Brittany Ehler! Brittany was raised in Belmont where she also attended high school. After graduation, she attended ICC for pre-nursing and received her CNA certification in 2013. Brittany started her career with Hickory Senior Living in August of 2014 as a Resident Assistant, then moved up to Resident Services Director in 2019. In September of 2024, she was promoted to Executive Director and has enjoyed her time with the company. Brittany is married to David Hyde, and they have two children, Skylar (12) and Haven (2). She has also worked alongside her mother, Diane Taylor, for eight years now.

Her kind spirit and servant’s heart are a blessing to our residents and staff. She truly enjoys caring for these residents and hearing their stories. Her favorite quotes are: "An idle mind is the devil's workshop." "Every day you wake up, God still has a purpose for you."
