Medical Care with a Mission: The MedPlus Story

We saw an opportunity to do things differently in healthcare and make this new company a ministry. It has been the passion of Samantha Logan to adopt and to help others adopt. It has long been the interest of John Logan to help the elderly. They found common ground in the Biblical passage, James 1:27. James 1:27 states “Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself unstained from the world”. While the team makes it clear that they are Christians and sinners, they are excited about growing closer to God and glorifying Him through their work at MedPlus. To keep it simple, and to involve the MedPlus team and patients, we decided starting July 1, MedPlus will contribute $1.27 (in reference of James 1:27) to help widows and orphans in each community in which we serve. We welcome you to be a part of this ministry! We call it “Mission 1:27.” If you know of a widow, orphan, or family planning to adopt that needs assistance, please private message us so we can consider them for our giving. Of course, MedPlus also wants to serve you better with exceptional healthcare! We desire to provide needed services in a fast, friendly environment. If you see of any way we can do better, please private message us and let us know. Your thoughts matter! Please pray for our staff team and the ministry of “sharing a little Jesus” with every patient that enters our doors. We want to be your preferred provider of healthcare! God bless you!
