Did you know that Ford Physical Therapy just missed the cut off for the Winter Olympics? We had our own bobsled team and everything. We will be training this summer in Jamaica to make it to the 2030 Winter Olympics. Wish us luck.

We may not be in New Orleans but we can celebrate Mardi Gras. Our graduating patients got Mardi Gras beads. We even had a patient bring in a King Cake. Next year we will work on getting some gumbo!

Last month was the first annual East Union high school connections career day. They had over 400 students between grades six through 12. Our therapist Maggie was there set up with a table and to answer all questions regarding physical therapy.

She helped explain the day to day activities, how long she went to school and all the fun athletes she gets to work with.

I bet you didn’t know that something as simple as plexiglass can help with physical therapy exercises. It can act as a sliding board to help a patient easily move through an exercise.
