Aging, By Design: The First Thing Aging Changes (And It’s Not Your Skin)

Most people think aging starts in the skin.
Fine lines. Wrinkles. Texture changes.
That’s where the focus usually goes. And that’s where most treatments begin. But the truth is, that’s not where aging starts.

The first change doesn’t happen on the surface at all. It happens beneath it.
As early as your late 20s and early 30s, your body begins to lose structural support in the deeper layers of the face. Bone density subtly shifts. Fat pads that once sat higher and tighter begin to descend. Ligaments that held everything in place start to relax. And when that support system changes, everything above it follows.

Skin doesn’t fall on its own. It follows the foundation beneath it. This is where most people get it wrong. They treat what they see first, lines, folds, laxity, without ever addressing what caused it. So they chase the surface. A little filler here. A little tox there. Maybe a laser or a facial.
